Pinhole Photography
Mondays, June 18th - July 16th
5:30pm - 8:00pm
Bummed that you can't afford a new camera this summer? Pinhole photography offers the opportunity to construct photographic cameras out of found objects and materials. During this course we will make cameras out of everything from tiny matchboxes to a full size minivan! Get ready to spend some time outdoors experimenting.

Repurpose Furniture with Mosaics
Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 2
5:00pm – 7:30pm
During this two day workshop learn how to repurpose furniture through the art of glass mosaics! This unique workshop includes instruction on cutting glass, creating designs specific to each item and grouting. Feel free to bring in any small to medium item you find thrifting or have lying around the house. While choosing your item keep in mind that textured pieces cannot be covered.

Fibers Assistant. I fix my ripped jeans.

Virgo, it totally matches my personality and I don't know why.
What’s your favorite color?
Purple, without a doubt.
What facility / tool / area do you think is the bestest at the Craft Centre?
The sewing machine, so I can fix my ripped jeans, duh. Thread fixes everything, not duct tape. 
What is the coolest thing you have made at the Craft Centre?
A metal necklace, it had three circles and I stamped my siblings names into them.
If you were a vegetable, which one would you be?
I would be a corn stalk, because corn is delicious! And it reminds me of Summer. Also, if dessert were a vegetable, I would totally be dessert.
What’s your favorite website?
Etsy.
What is your favorite class you have ever taken while at UWM?
2-D Concepts, I met a lot of my really good friends there and learned a ton!

Yes, because people want revenge. I'm certain.

Operations Manager. I make sure we don't get set on fire. Sometimes I order all the things.

Gemini. A Polish horoscope said that I would get this job and I did, hahaha! (maniacal laughter)
What’s your favorite color?
Green! It's pretty.
What facility / tool / area do you think is the bestest at the Craft Centre?
The torches or the kilns. Specifically the third kiln. The Santa Maria!
What is the coolest thing you have made at the Craft Centre?
A metal jellyfish, it was bitchin'.
If you were a vegetable, which one would you be?
A potato, although it may be a tuber. Because it sounds really sexy in French.

What is your favorite class you have ever taken while at UWM?
Art and Civic Culture in 15th Century Florence. Florence is the best ever. And I love Tanya Tiffany!

:: Camera Rentals! ::

We're now renting out Cameras!
We havone Canon and one Nikon 35mm B&W SLR Film Cameras available. They can be rented for up to four days; Stop in to check for availability or sign-up on the waitlist!

Details:
Any outstanding charges on the camera will be added to your PAWS Account. If they are not paid, you will not be allowed to graduate. (For collateral, to ensure you will bring the camera back and pay for any damages that may occur.)

You have four days to check out the camera. On the fourth day the camera must be returned by Noon. You may re-checkout the camera at that time, as long as there is no one next on the waiting list.

If the camera is not returned on time, you will be charged the full price in which it costs at that time to replace the body, lens, and lens cap. If the camera is brought in late, after we have already charged your card, we will give you a refund, but will charge a late fee of $8.00 each day past the date of return.

The camera must be returned in the condition it was checked out in. Fines will be judged by the severity of the damage. Stop by the Craft Centre for more information on damage costs.

Photography Lead. I lurk around the corners of the darkroom.

I believe that I'm an otter; it doesn't have to do with spirit signs but that's just my spirit animal.
What’s your favorite color?
Any color under the sun!
What facility / tool / area do you think is the bestest at the Craft Centre?
Sewing machines because I rip my clothes frequently.
What is the coolest thing you have made at the Craft Centre?
I littered the Arts and Craft Centre with cat calendar cutouts once.

An asparagus. They have nice hair.
