Empty Bowls is an event run by an all volunteer, nonprofit organization whose aim is to raise funds and awareness to help food pantries and meal programs in Milwaukee.

Some of the bowls donated in previous years.

At this annual event, guests choose from over 2,000 ceramic bowls handcrafted and donated by local artists. More than 50 local chefs prepare soup to be served with bread and refreshments. Some of Milwaukee’s top musicians come to entertain guests throughout the day!

Since 1999 Milwaukee Empty Bowls has donated over $410,000 to programs which aim to feed those in need.
